Air Zimbabwe is pleased to announce that the pilot strike has ended and flights from Harare to London (flight number UM 724) for tonight and from London to Harare, flight number UM 725 (scheduled for tomorrow) are resuming.
Further, as phone lines are likely to be very busy it is advised to contact the airline for only closer dates to be rescheduled. Travelers, who have booked through a travel agency, should get in touch with their agents and contact for refunds and rescheduling through proper channel.
Moreover, we are happy to welcome the new Boeing 737-500 in Air Zimbabwe fleet. This latest Air craft has been leased by Zambezi carrier and to meet up with the challenging situation currently faced by Air Zimbabwe. Not only that Air Zimbabwe will not be providing better services to its travelers but also the International routes journey will be more satisfactory.
By renting this latest plane in its fleet, the Airline has taken the much required step. This action is openly praised by Airline Experts.
The advanced Boeing 737-500 aircraft will also make it possible for Air Zimbabwe to attain a stable state and upgrade its services at Harare-London and Harare and Beijing, International flight routes.
